I've been a little busy......
In May my daughter Karlene graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University. She immediately started working as a para legal in Boston.
The next day I flew to LA to meet with cancer survivor and author Beverlye Hyman Fead and her co-author, granddaughter Tessa Mae Hamermesh.
July rolled on by and with it was the release of Let My Colors Out written by Courtney Filigenzi.
Click here for a fabulous review of the book.
In August I flew out to San Francisco to meet with Astro the Steller Sea Lion's care givers at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito and his trainers at the long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz. Astro will be released in June 2010.
While I was in SF, Nancy Tupper Ling, Alicia May Crossley, her sister Rachel, and their mom, Cheri were featured on NECN talking about My Sister, Alicia May. Click here to watch the video clip.
With September came my daughter Bethany attending Northeastern University in their Doctor of Pharmacy program and a trip for me to Atlanta to meet with the publishing staff of the ACS, the authors of my next ACS book, The Long and Short of It (Barbara Meyers and Lydia Mays), and the book's designer (Jill Ronsley). Though Jill had also designed My Sister, Alicia May, this was the first time I had met her.
Blogs are so informative where we get lots of information on any topic. Nice job keep it up!!
